How I made the Alien fossil pendant
Many people have asked how i made it so i'm gonna tell you :la: In great detail :giggle:
I made it because a very nice man asked me to. Challenge accepted! :D
And i must admit - it really was a challenge
I have spent quite some time scratching my head and thinking 'how da hell am i gonna make this?'

I started from the head.

The top was supposed to be shiny so standard wrapping was out of the question. I chose a low dome half round wire instead. That thing is SO hard to bend sideways and i had to bend it to get the head shape. After the bending battle was done i spent
Wire wrapping is exactly what it sounds like: wrapping things in wire. Unlike a lot of jewellery making, wire wrapping does not typically use any torches, solders, chemicals or glues to join the pieces. The wire is wrapped around itself and the accents to create beautiful, unique pieces.
The beauty of this technique is that it is difficult to do industrially. Most wire wrapping is hand made by individuals with a lot of patience and love for the craft.
